…ALABAMA!!!
As promised, I’m coming atcha with a bit of a life update today! At the end of the month, Chet and I will be relocating to Huntsville, AL.
We’ve known for a while now that Miami wasn’t going to be a forever home. We were just waiting for the right opportunity to come along. And a few weeks ago, it did! I’m so excited for this new adventure. So far it’s been a whirlwind of packing, scouting places to live, and learning as much as possible about our new home-base.
This move will put us closer to family and friends. Plus, the size/climate/culture of Huntsville is much more in line with the type of location we see ourselves in long term. (I guess you can take a Kentucky girl and a Louisiana boy out of the South…but they sure will miss it a whole bunch!)
Have you ever been to North Alabama? Any recommendations? I’d love to hear! Leave a comment below or feel free to drop me an email at ebeth.berger@gmail.com. ❤
So exciting!! I know nothing about Alabama and it’s the one state in the south that I’ve somehow never been to or through. I’m excited to learn more about it through your experiences there!
Never lived in Huntsville lived in Birmingham, looking forward to your experiences in the area.
Sweet home Alabama, ah good luck with your new journey! That’s amazing news 🙂 I hope you enjoy it there 🙂
I bet you are so excited about moving and all new things. I’m not from America and I been never there but, I can’t wait to read about it in the future posts of yours. 🙃
Sounds exciting Beth! Although can be fatiguing, wish you all the best with the moving!
Huntsville is an amazing place to live! I was just in Miami last weekend for a music festival, what a coincidence that’s where you’re from. Honest Coffee shop in downtown Huntsville is a must if you enjoy a cup of coffee/tea. I’m going to start blogging good bites to eat around town so stay updated with my page and there will be plenty of reviews of resteraunts offered here in the Rocket City. Welcome to North Alabama!

That’s so cool! Thanks for the recommendation. 🙂 I’ve bookmarked your page so I can check back and find more spots to visit!!
Oh wow, congrats! I wish I could visit the south and west parts of the US. I’ve lived in midwest and visited most big cities on the East Coast. I’ve also volunteered for a week in South Carolina and visited Miami. I bet the south is a whole different experience. I hope you guys enjoy the life in Alabama. 🙂
