Have you had a browse of the magnificent paper goods shop, Thimblepress? I love the idea of their gold foil cards that feature hand-drawn illustrations of state flowers. Aren’t they beautiful?
You can buy one card (Wouldn’t they be awesome to send to someone who has recently moved to a new state?!) or a box of six. Or rep the whole U.S. of A. with a print of the whole map. Now that’s one heck of a bouquet!
The idea for Thimblepress’ State Flower Collection was born from a quote by Lady Bird Johnson, “Where flowers bloom so does hope.” I love that.

These are so pretty! The state flower of Virginia is the dogwood…I’m surprised to see it is North Carolina’s too.
I noticed that on the website and thought it was strange.
