mid-week round-up

golden hour photography

Hi loves! How’s your week going so far? Chet is back from a week-long work trip and I am ever so glad!!! This week’s forecast is full of warm and sunny weather so we headed to the beach for a couple of hours yesterday. We are also planning on hitting up the pool and maybe sauntering down to a new-to-us park I found while on an evening stroll last week. We’ve also been researching potential locations to go camping in the near future. I’ve found a few that look promising, but I’d love to know if you’ve ever been camping around South Florida, The Everglades, or The Keys! Any spots we should know about? Anywho, enough dawdling…ON TO THE LINKS…

P.S. If you’re looking for something to do this week, I have a couple recommendations! I recently watched the documentary, The Barkley Marathons, on Netflix and thought it was both fascinating and entertaining. I also have a slight obsession with the weird and wacky world of college policy debate. Check out the episode titled “Debatable” of the Radiolab podcast to get a glimpse into this world.

Happy December, everyone! While Miami looks nothing like the picture above (in December or ANY month), after decorating our apartment for Christmas and doing a bit of holiday shopping, I’m feeling in quite the seasonal mood. This week, I’m counting down the minutes until Friday evening when my best friend’s plane lands and we can spend a weekend catching up and having a blast. Can’t wait!!! Hope you have a great week, and don’t forget to check out my 2015 Holiday Gift Guide. Alright, link time…

Hi friends! What are your plans for this week? We’ve been acclimating ourselves to our new surroundings with trips out to find nearby stores and easy dinners cooked at home. Also, we had a nose around Florida International University (where Chet will be working) and it is GORGEOUS. Finally, we checked out our pool yesterday evening and splashed around for about an hour before dinner. Bliss! I could get used to such things. Have a great rest of your week, and enjoy a dozen links on me…
