mid-week round-up

Happy Wednesday!! How’s everyone’s week going? Although we had yucky weather all weekend (keeping us out of any water), we still managed to have a lovely time soaking up the last days of summer. We ate at a new restaurant, explored, hit up an arcade (I love a good pinball machine!), and watched this wacky movie (have you seen it?). Now it’s back to the grind with a productive week. But before I get tucked in with work, let’s link…

  1. OMG that “photo book that captured how the soviet regime made the truth disappear” article is rather eye-opening. I was watching this documentary about how the Soviets treated Finnish immigrants before the war the other day and I just couldn’t believe it.

  2. ;love the round up 🙂 spending time outdoors makes such a difference to my health and wellbeing. There’s been research recently in UK about this. There’s also been research on the amount of pollution trees/plants take out of the atmosphere and the health benefits this brings. I read picnic at hanging rock years ago – good book. It’s place with an atmosphere too… A v creepy adaptation has just been aired on the BBC which may make it to the US soon. love Bec
