mid-week round-up

What’s new in your world? I am absolutely loving these lengthening days, aren’t you? It’s like every year I forget and every year I’m delighted that it is happening again. (Although, the changing weather is not working any wonders on my work-time motivation…I just want to be outside!) Hope you have a wonderful rest of your week, and here are a few links for your enjoyment…

mid-week round-up

What have you been up to lately, lovelies? I’m counting down the days because…I’m flying to Los Angeles one week from today!!! I’ll be celebrating and exploring with my dear friend Adam (it will be his birthday while we’re there!) and hopefully seeing some other West Coast loves. I can’t wait! But I’m almost done with the book I’m reading so I need to pick a new one for the plane. Any suggestions? I’m flying direct so I’m gonna need a page-turner to pass the time! If you have fun plans forthcoming, I hope the days fly by (I know that’s what I’m wishing for!), but until then…

back alley

What are you up to this week? Our wedding invitations are starting to show up in folk’s mailboxes and I’ve been giddily checking our online RSVP’s with WAY too much frequency. We also booked our tickets to Lexington last night. I’m really excited that I’ll be in Kentucky so soon! I opted to fly in earlier then Chet (he has to teach a summer class) so I can take care of all the last minute planning…as well as drink daily Ale-8’s and buy copious amounts of my favorite treats from Good Foods Co-op. Hope you’re all doing well and have some fun plans for this week. In the mean time, here are a dozen links for you to peruse…

How has your week been faring so far? We’ve been working on getting our Save the Date cards out in the mail and generally enjoying the cooler weather. We took a quick adventure through this Nature Preserve over the weekend and it felt like early fall. A little weird in the midst of February! Florida you’re full of surprises! The other night I watched a screening copy of a documentary about Malala Yousafzai and I’m excited to share my thoughts on it tomorrow. I hope you’ll come back then! May the rest of your week turn out lovely, and here are a few links for your enjoyment…
