I loved hearing how many episodes my various co-workers got through over the weekend. Who says binge watching eliminates water cooler chats!? Also, I’ve been working on knitting projects and it’s a little bit addictive. Have a wonderful week, and enjoy these links I found just for YOU…

Hey friends! What are you up to this week? If you’re on the East Coast I hope you’re ensconced in covers and have plenty of wine tucked in your cupboards! I recently checked out a new dinner spot that I would highly recommend if you’re around these parts, and Monday was free Chipotle day! Did your Chipotle run out of free sofritas, too? It sounds like they weren’t prepared for such a positive response. Never under-estimate the power of free burritos, people! I’ve also downloaded a new app that I’m excited to tell you guys about at some point. : ) Hope you have a good week, stay safe out there, and providing you’re weathering the storm with an Internet connection…

How is everyone doing? Things are beginning to look a lot like Christmas around here! Chet got into town on Sunday and we were quick to get the decorating done. Tree is up, twinkle lights liberally strewn where possible and stockings hung! I’m anxious to do other holiday activities as well. Any ideas? I’m thinking we’ll go check out some outdoor lights and a giant tree at a historic home near the apartment but I would love some suggestions! What do you guys think? What’s up, buttercups? My mom and I went to visit my grandma this past weekend, and this week at work it’s all about Thanksgiving promotion. Not gonna lie, I’m getting a little sick of thinking about turkeys and pies. : ) Oh, and winter has returned! Usually, with the turning of the seasons I feel a gripping sense of nostalgia for a day or two. As the days turned to Fall, my friends and I agreed that it happens to all of us! The only sound explanation I could settle on was that, without any recent recollections involving the current climate, your mind turns to years past as a way to make sense of the new season. The result, a flood of memories and melancholy. However, the recent snow and drop in temperature didn’t pull me into that place. I think because my eyes are cast ahead, in the best of ways. But perhaps, it’s just because winter arrived too brusquely and it’s taken us all by surprise. In any case, stay warm out there and here are some links for your Wednesday…
