mid-week round-up

What have you been up to lately, lovelies? I’m counting down the days because…I’m flying to Los Angeles one week from today!!! I’ll be celebrating and exploring with my dear friend Adam (it will be his birthday while we’re there!) and hopefully seeing some other West Coast loves. I can’t wait! But I’m almost done with the book I’m reading so I need to pick a new one for the plane. Any suggestions? I’m flying direct so I’m gonna need a page-turner to pass the time! If you have fun plans forthcoming, I hope the days fly by (I know that’s what I’m wishing for!), but until then…

What are you up to this week, darlings? While January seemed to drag on forever, February is already flying by. #ShortMonthProblems It will be Valentine’s Day before we know it! Are you planning anything special? I’m trying to do little Valentine’s-inspired things throughout the month to make each day feel special (with some Mardi Gras themed things, too!). Fresh flowers, photo projects, baking treats, and sending out cards have all found their way onto my February calendar. 🙂 Hope your week is extra sweet, and here are some links I scouted just for you…

What have you been up to friends? On Saturday, our friends from Kentucky passed through on their way home from The Keys and we had a lovely time visiting with them. I love having visitors from further north to remind us that it IS a darn delight to eat outdoors in January. 🙂 Also, loving my little Internet community who chimed in on my posts about decluttering and mornings. Yay Wednesday! I forgot how exhausting the week after Thanksgiving is. Can’t it just be Christmas already? I want more festivities and less work, lol! After spending Thanksgiving day at home in Miami (complete with a traditional feast), Chet and I headed to St. Petersburg for a long weekend with my mom and sister (and ANOTHER meal, #gimmeallthestuffing). We ate, shopped, enjoyed some vino, and even checked out a rad exhibit at the St. Petersburg Museum of Fine Arts that featured hundreds of costumes from the Star Wars movies! Happy Wednesday, folks!! What are you up to this week? I’ve been pretty busy the last few weeks. The type of busy where I’m relishing in that productive, crossing stuff off my To-Do list feeling and not the type where I’m feeling overwhelmed. Which is nice. Fingers crossed I keep it up! In the midst of it all, the (slightly) cooler temperatures have given me a touch of a sore throat (bleck!). But that’s all the more reason to live my best Hygge life and drink a ton of hot tea!! I’m sure I’ll be on the up and up in no time. Hope everyone is killin’ it on this mid-week day, and that you have a few moments to enjoy some links…

Hi babes! What’s going on this week? We’re experiencing a rare cold front in Miami so a big pot of chili and a movie marathon are in order.
