Yay Wednesday! I forgot how exhausting the week after Thanksgiving is. Can’t it just be Christmas already? I want more festivities and less work, lol! After spending Thanksgiving day at home in Miami (complete with a traditional feast), Chet and I headed to St. Petersburg for a long weekend with my mom and sister (and ANOTHER meal, #gimmeallthestuffing). We ate, shopped, enjoyed some vino, and even checked out a rad exhibit at the St. Petersburg Museum of Fine Arts that featured hundreds of costumes from the Star Wars movies! Now it’s on to decorating for Christmas, yahoo!!! Hope you’re having a great week, and here are some links for your reading pleasure…

Last night, as I cleaned up the kitchen and loaded the dishwasher, I did what I always do during chores these days. Popped in my earbuds and played a podcast. Do you do this? Ever since starting this ritual, I find myself looking forward to doing the dishes. *gasp* It’s almost like the doldrums of domesticity masquerading as pleasant self-care. Highly recommend!

Happy Wednesday, folks!! What are you up to this week? I’ve been pretty busy the last few weeks. The type of busy where I’m relishing in that productive, crossing stuff off my To-Do list feeling and not the type where I’m feeling overwhelmed. Which is nice. Fingers crossed I keep it up! In the midst of it all, the (slightly) cooler temperatures have given me a touch of a sore throat (bleck!). But that’s all the more reason to live my best Hygge life and drink a ton of hot tea!! Hi babes! What’s going on this week? We’re experiencing a rare cold front in Miami so a big pot of chili and a movie marathon are in order. Hello friends! What’s going on this week? With everyone’s talk of “sweater weather” and cooler temperatures, I’m feeling a bit like I have the opposite of Seasonal Affective Disorder. We’ll call it OMG WHY HAS IT BEEN HOT FOR SO MANY MONTHS??? Syndrome. Maybe some activities to mark the passing seasons would be helpful??
